About Our Business
Graybar Furniture Works was founded by a former Navy Seabee
named Craig Graybar in 1979. The company started out as a one
man shop but has grown over the years as more skilled craftsmen,
dedicated to carefully combining old world techniques with proven
technology to deliver the finest quality, have come on board.
Graybar Furniture has won numerous awards and has been
recognized by both local and national publications like "The Wood
100."

We custom build to suit our client's needs, we also offer
reproductions and alterations to meet virtually any specifications.
Our customers are able to inspect everything we build BEFORE we
do the finish work so the customer is assured the job was done
properly.

Our experience with building furniture along with our equipment
enables us to also handle furniture restoration projects that most
other companies turn away. Many of us have been here for decades
and we take great pride in knowing our work will be around for
generations to come.

This customer wanted a vanity made to
match her existing bedroom set. We used
one of the nightstands as a construction
and finish sample.

We make all of our own
parts. No hot glue and
staples here. We use proven,
old world joinery along with
the best available glues then
we clamp everything together
for joints that will hold tight.

work prior to finishing.
